One again I attended a hamfest and brought my kit to encourage people to unleash their power provided by Amateur Radio. Here are a few photos of the car parked at the front of the convention center. I appreciate our ARRL Oklahoma leadership for encouraging me to park right up front and for being genuinely glad I was there to present the build.
It was good to meet others who are frequently on VHF and I few that I have logged during a contest.
Here I am extending the push-up mast.
And here is a photo of it fully extended.
The Associated Radio guys (Overland Park KS) and Main Trading Company were there among others. They actually sold-out of tables. It is worth the trip to eyeball stuff and certainly to make eyeball QSO’s.
